This popular multi-mount custom Super Feeder® features a special dishwasher-safe bowl made with a high-grade kitchenware material known as "SAN" by Kibisan® and especially designed to spread kibbles for better access by pets. It also features a Super Feeder Brand 7-day digital timer to trigger the feeder up to 8 times per day, group or all days of the week. It comes with a black powder coated metal bracket to attach the feeder to the heavy-duty black ABS base and tower. This Super Feeder® could also be used with a home automation system and/or web based system. This model includes the 4 ¾ cups CSF-3 Super Feeder® with a large 1.5 gal. (24 cups) hopper. If you have a really aggressive "locksmith" cat when it comes to trying to get to the food, an optional chute cover (protective device) is available from Super-Feed® later that you can install yourself, or you may purchase this same combo with it already installed listed on Amazon as ASIN: B005XCWVPC. Small 1/4" spherical/square kibbles are recommended with the chute cover. You could trigger two feeders at the same time with one timer using a power strip or two timers synchronized together. Not only is the Super Feeder extremely dependable, versatile and easy to operate, but it comes with personalized customer support. It only needs minor assembly with a screwdriver. • Up to 1.8 gallons capacity (24 cups) with supplied 1.5 gallon hopper. Why is it a "custom" feeder? It can also be mounted to a wall or cat play stand using a piece of 2x4 instead of the supplied short stand to guard against that strong mischievous cat! • It can feed from a fraction of a cup to multiple cups of kibbles per day. Use it like many customers do to feed your pet early in the morning and get a good night's sleep! A 7-day digital timer is included to provide up to 8 feed cycles per single day, group of days or all days of the week. With the supplied timer, you could also do some "snack type" very small portions between main meals using its seconds funtion. • Ready to mount to supplied mount/platform--narrow profile size of unit is 12x11x21inches tall with one of two supplied clear 2-cup extension installed as shown. If you want an intrusion proof feeder outlet to guard against that "locksmith" pet, this model is also available on Amazon with a special chute cover installed and analog timer designated as ASIN: B0044JC8RQ. Feeder needs minor assembly requiring only a small and medium Phillips tip screwdriver to save on box size (shipping), packaging and possible damage translating into higher consumer cost.
• Small 1/4" spherical/square kibbles like offered by Science Diet or other brands are recommended for very best performance. Please be aware that the feeder does not "count' kibbles, but tests have shown that an accuracy of +/- .1 to .2 ounce per portion has been achieved for every two cycles with recommended kibbles. Most other cat food kibbles will work very well, but with so many shapes/sizes of kibbles on the market, it is impossible to predict exact results. Although performance is guaranteed with recommended food as described, please be advised that due to variance of kibble sizes and shapes, 100% portion accuracy simply cannot be guaranteed for all feed cycles. An optianal slow-speed power adapter could also be purchsed later if needed to help with extremely small portions. 1/2" pyramid shaped kibbles are not recommended.
